POTP NEEDS YOU!

We’ve got exciting plans! Pub on the Park is applying for planning permission to add a timber-framed canopy to our outdoor decking and we think you’re going to love it.

Picture this: a stylish, glass-topped canopy that gives you those epic park views all year round. Sunshine or drizzle, your pints stay dry and your vibe stays strong.

This beauty will have a smart glass panel roof that opens and closes automatically (we love a bit of tech), and in the warmer months the sides will stay open so you can bask in that fresh air and when it gets chilly, we’ll close it up to keep things cozy – because frostbite is never on the agenda.

If you’d like more info on our proposal, please scroll down for further details.

If you’re as into this as we are, help us make it happen by signing the petition!

Also, don’t worry, we won’t add you to our mailing list (unless you’re already subscribed) – but we may contact you about updates and any further support:

Why we believe the canopy would be a great addition:

Built to last, designed to suit all seasons:
The canopy would be a strong, timber-framed structure that can handle the unpredictable UK weather. During warmer months, the sides can stay open to let in fresh air, and in cooler months, they can be closed to help keep things cosy. Even with its sturdy design, the structure would look light and blend in nicely with its surroundings.
The glass panel roof system is fitted on sleek metal rails, allowing it to open and close automatically depending on the weather.

A space with a view all year round:
Thanks to its transparent roof and sides, the canopy would offer fantastic views of London Fields, day and night. By covering part of the decking, it would create a comfortable, all-weather space for people to enjoy the scenery, whatever the season.

Supporting how people socialise today:
More and more of our customers love spending time outdoors – it’s a healthier, more relaxed way to catch up. A canopy would give people confidence to plan outdoor events without worrying about the weather. It’s a flexible, high-quality space that helps us meet the changing needs of the community.

Helping our business, and team, thrive:
Like many in hospitality, we’re feeling the pressure of rising costs and economic uncertainty. A covered outdoor space would help secure the future of the pub by allowing us to trade in all weather. More than that, it would help protect jobs and keep the venue vibrant for everyone who loves it.
